The phoenix in its logo symbolizes good luck and consists of the letters VIP. Air China has numerous flights between London Heathrow Airport and Beijing. Providing a unique flight experience to its guests with its fleet of the world's most advanced 747-400 series aircraft with the highest level of comfort, Air China is at a higher level in terms of both service and reputation than other airline companies operating flights between global destinations and China. Air China is a very successful airline in terms of flight safety and customer service, prioritizing modern training methods and fleet maintenance. Air China, which constantly invests in personnel and service development, has a significant place in the aviation industry. Air China, which carries approximately 16 million passengers annually, was one of several airlines produced by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in the mid-1980s. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CCAC) and the Civil Aviation Bureau of China (CAB) have managed the Chinese civil air service since 1949. As a result of the difficulty of adapting to new market competition and a series of organizational changes between 1979 and 1983, the CAAC was reorganized in late 1984 and created the following four regional divisions: East, South, Southwest and Northwest. Air China, based in Beijing, assumed chief responsibility for intercontinental flights and took over CAAC's long-haul aircraft (Boeing 747s, 767s and 707s, and medium-range 737s).
