Hacı Aşık Konağı

Our facility consists of a two-storey mansion with a garden in front, built in the mid-1800s on the banks of the Kızılırmak River in Avanos, during the late Ottoman period, bearing traces of Ottoman architecture and preserving its originality to this day, with high arched roofs on the lower floors and high wooden ceilings on the upper floors.

In front of our mansion there is a 1,000 square meter garden with many old fruit trees and plants. Organic vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, eggplants etc.) and fruits are actively grown in the garden and are offered to our valued guests in season.

In the continuation of our garden, there is the Kızılırmak walking path and the Şehit Demet Sezen Culture and Sports Park, which is closed to vehicle traffic and belongs to the Avanos Municipality; in the mornings, our valued guests who walk and exercise by the Kızılırmak by passing through the garden enjoy coffee under our 50-year-old walnut tree.

In addition, the sound of water coming from the waterfall on the Kızılırmak River passing under our garden creates natural sound insulation and provides comfort and convenience to our valued guests.
