Cumbalıca Beach Hotel
Tourism in Ilıca started in the 1700s as health tourism with its hot springs. At that time, many holiday homes were built by the wealthy families of the region in the Yıldız Burnu area and even their homes had thermal waters. It is also known by everyone that Tosun Pasha, who was the Pasha of Egypt in the 1890s, came to Ilıca every year for treatment and had a fountain built here. In 1926, Mustafa Kemal Pasha also preferred to stay in Ilıca for a while, which makes this region even more valuable. The interest shown at that time continues today.
Located right in front of the Cumbalıca Hotel, Ilıca Beach is one of the few beaches in Turkey with the Blue Flag status and is ranked first in the list of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Turkey with no entrance fee. The hot thermal waters boiling from the sea turn Ilıca Beach and other beaches in the region into large thermal pools.
One of the most important features of Ilıca beach is that a strip of approximately one hundred meters from the shore to the sea is not deeper than a person's height. This feature makes these unique beaches very suitable for children's use and in terms of health and life safety.
It is 87 km from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 6 km from Çeşme Center and 4 km from Alaçatı.
