Ticket Cancellation and Voucher Conversion Rules

For bus journeys departing from Türkiye, all bus operators and all entities selling tickets are required to comply with the Road Transport Regulation. According to Article 36/8 of this regulation, passengers have the right to request a ticket cancellation at least 24 hours before the departure time. Within the scope of the mutual agreements we have with bus operators, this period may be reduced to less than 24 hours for many companies operating departures from Türkiye, depending on their own internal practices. Additionally, for departures from Türkiye, if the “Last-Minute Refund Right” service is purchased, the ticket can be cancelled up until the scheduled departure time. For journeys that take place outside Türkiye or do not depart from Türkiye, cancellation and refund conditions are not subject to Turkish legislation; the applicable rules are entirely determined by the bus operator’s own policy. For journeys within European Union member states, operators act in accordance with the EU Passenger Rights Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 181/2011), and the applicable cancellation conditions may vary depending on the policy set by the relevant operator. For cancellation requests initiated by the passenger, the right to cancellation may be partially or entirely unavailable depending on the fare, ticket type, and cancellation policy determined by the bus operator.
